The Top 5 things I’ve learned since I’ve been beauty blogging πŸ’‹

Happy Tuesday Beauties!

I wanted to do this kind of post because has only been active sinceΒ the last days of February 2015.Β

I have been Blogging for a Long time – But on my main website – CatForsley, com. That’s Now only for my artwork etc.

1.Β I’ve learned to be more Resourceful. Brands are always Looking for bloggers to write about them. PR has been around since the beginning! So look for Brand opportunities. If You are into That Kind of thing! Β My bedroom is beginning to look like a boutique. It’s amazing. If You want To write about brands- Don’t be afraid to write them! That’s the Number 1 for me, as I enjoy learning about different companies and products. Don’t get me wrong, Sephora is still in my top five places to shop! But There is so much Out there – From all around The World. Β Beauty Blogging has taught me to broaden my horizons.Β

2.Β I’ve learned to be moreΒ inquisitive about what is in a beauty product. What’s In it! Especially with skincare. I never used to read the contents of a product. Now I read Like Crazy about the science of beauty. I’ve lovedΒ chemistry forever but now I have become a total nerd! And I am Okay with that!Β

3.Β I’ve learned to write about what I love. Trends come and Go. We all Know that. What’s interesting to me will not necessarily be interesting to someone else. I’ve learned to Always stick to My true voice.Β

4.Β I always comment on blog posts . Always. I have been writing forever and ever: poetry and music. I know That beauty blogging is completely different. Commenting on something That someone has written always makes blogging way more personal. I don’t Just click “Like” ! Β This, in my experience in Β social media builds friendships and I have always believed that we are all in this together. I may be wacky and outspoken at times, but, by no means Β do I want to become just a “Liker”. If I like something – I say It. Β This is the way I am and always have been.

5 .Β I’ve learned that I Can’t be everywhere at once. There is so much in social media. Basically. I write or post when I want To. When I want to is my Number 5.Β If I feel Like posting on Instagram– I will, If I feel like being Zany on Twitter I will. So, In Truth, i Guess the biggest lesson I have learned since has been active, is to balance everything in a more Cat like fashion!!! Β Social media does not run my life. I run my life. Beauty Blogging has become More fun because of this. Really – It should be fun. It’s Not rocket science!Β

A happy woman is a beautiful woman

I hope You enjoyed my little Tuesday post!Β

See You soony

I really love to read these types of posts about what everyone has learned about blogging and tips for working with companies and things like that. I know there are definitely some companies I’d like to work with but I’m waiting for my stats to evolve since I haven’t been blogging that long. And I know it takes time and patience.

I think my biggest struggle is the PICS. OMG. I can do a great post and then it’s like I have to get the pics OHHHHHHHHH agony.

it is indeed – that’s what I think anyway, love sharing hints and tips with bloggers πŸ™‚ and learning new things from new people πŸ˜€ that’s what it’s all about ❀

“I do not want to just be a liker” I agree to so much! I love reading blog comments much more than counting the number of likes on a post (although they can be a helpful indication for how popular something is). I can’t help noticing your blog design is amazing, I have the same theme and can make mine look nowhere near as professional as this!
