#SparkleWithJoy part 2 – the beautiful products we received!

Happy Sunday Everyone !

We’re getting so close to Christmas and the hustle and bustle of the holiday season intensifies!

My family is coming up from Ottawa and I am so excited to see them!

Let’s just jump n to my post – Part two of Dave Lackie’s & Shiseido Canada’s  gorgeous event!

I still have video and so many photos I haven’t done anything with, but since it is the busiest time of the year -I may save them for another time – recap more after the new year comes.

Today I wanted to talk about the products!

Each of The guests got a Wishlist and there were lovely tables set up with products and the Shiseido team gave us info on each and every product. I loved that part – as the science of Beauty is what always intrigues me.  The Beauty Editor Experience – 100%!!!!

Nearing the end of the evening, we received a huge red gift box with the items we had picked!

(likeChristmas) !!!!!

Having read up on their history- Shiseido was established in 1872!  There is a timeline on their site and it’s so interesting!

Love them !
Love them !

The Honey cake soaps are a tradition and a hostess gift in Japan. To me -they look like jewelled candies! Translucent glycerine soaps encased in vivid colour. Love these!

The Ultimune power infusing concentrate is pretty amazing.  It’s received a huge amount of press as it empowers and strengthens the skin.

Lacquer Rouge in Sanguine is a gorgeous Holiday red! Inspired by Japanese Lacquerware- it leaves a glossy 3d  effect lip look. Of course, as to be expected I am so fascinated by all their lip colours now!  I have a few on my list for Santa!

You can see my wish list and I pretty much checked off everything! (hehe)
White Lucent is another very well loved product all over the world. It brightens and smooths.
There is something about Shiseido’s Packaging that is futuristic and I love that! Pared with History and tradition this makes everything more appealing to me.
Full Lash Serum – I have used this 2x now and This is really an exciting product to me as I have very baby blonde  lashes. I have thought about lash extensions many a time but this may just be the answer!
If someone else is doing my makeup, they always apply false lashes , but if I do my own – It’s about 3 coats of mascara.
This product can be used for brows as well. I think I will stick to see how it works for my lashes as I have my brows tinted every month and they are thick enough.
And speaking of lashes – I received  Full Lash Volume Mascara in Black.  I haven’t had time to try this baby out yet – But I will definitely let you all know. I am always on the hunt for new mascaras.  When You have fair lashes, it’s like a tiny goal to find the perfect lengthener and I need waterproof- as I don’t want it to MOVE!
one of my favourite pics from the event !
Well that’s It for today!
HOPE you beauties enjoyed this post – If You want individual reviews – do let me know!
BACK To The Zaniness of  the Holiday Season !!!!
See You soon!

  1. I’ve not tried the Shiseido Honey cake soaps but they’re so popular – I really should get myself one as a gift to myself! 😉
Good to hear about the lash serum – I used their lash primer which is superb but haven’t tried the lash serum yet.
Overall I just love Shiseido – the Japanese philosophy and aesthetics make a lot of sense. ❤
