Let’s Go back 13+ years whilst I was pregnant with my one and only.

I Grew Fast. My pregnancy showed very early. My son’s dad is very tall and I knew my son would be on the longer/ bigger end of the newborn baby spectrum.

 

I had stretch marks at about the 2 month mark. Because I am so fair skinned, they showed up dark. I read up a ton about what products to use on stretch marks and I found Bio-Oil. This was 13 years ago and the amount of reviews were minimal. I bought it at Shopper’s Drug Mart and began to use it every night.  I would massage it in circular motions and kept at it.

Further into my birth story !!!!!! 9 months FURTHER.

At full term I weighed 200lbs …. YUP!

My normal weight is about 117

I ended up having an emergency C-Section after about a day of pushing.

They put me under – FULL ON and I woke up 15 minutes later to a Beautiful, Healthy and Very blonde Son.

My body was in mega pain and I ended up staying in the hospital for 5 days. He was healthy….

I didn’t care about anything else.

After about 6 weeks, the incision had healed fully and I could start using Bio-Oil again.

 

Now here is where I get even more personal !!!!

Pretty amazing right. I don’t go in the sun and this is the only product I have used!

When I look at my son now, and he is TALLER than I am – I wonder HOW!!!!

  1. Wow – thank you so much for sharing! Not only bio oil but your STORY!! It’s mindblowing what you went through but look at the gift at the end. I can’t wrap my head around YOU being 200 lbs loooool.

    I had no idea you went through so much to bring your son into the world. You’re even stronger than I could have ever imagined ❤️❤️

    Now, I need to go get bio-oil…again…ha ha…and actually use it consistently cause those results are amazing!

  4. A glowing review! I’ve used Bio-Oil for some time now too and find it to be very good, but you do need patience to stick with it to get the results (though it’s worth it) 🙂

  5. I just picked up the bio oil two days ago. A few stretch marks have appeared over the last few months thanks to my never ending weight battle. I’ve been wondering whether it will work and how long that’ll take. Thank god for this post! ☺️☺️

  8. This is your most amazing post IN MY OPINION so far! thank you for sharing your beautiful story. I cant picture you being 200lbs! but the body is an amazing vessel. I’ve always wondered about BIO OIL. But now i’m literally buying a bottle! I have some stress marks that need BIO OIL. You Rock!

  19. Lovely post! Bio oil is definitely amazing! I haven’t used it but my bestie got oil burns on her face when she worked at a fast food restaurant many years ago and because of bio oil you can’t tell at all! It healed up all of her burns without a trace! Amazing stuff!
