A Beautiful New Launch at Pure+Simple – 2015

As Brand Ambassador for Pure + Simple, I get to cover all the products there and I am loving It!  The Yorkville location is my new home away from home!

This week they launched beautiful products for acne prone skin.  There are many brands at Pure + Simple: in store and Online. Today I am Going to focus on Holistic Vanity.

Holistic Vanity is for skin that needs a little extra help – Naturally!

So back to This week – They Launched 4 new products under the Holistic Vanity line for acne prone skin.

Here they are and this is what they do – Again – Naturally !

I have never had any acne concerns, but I do know that tackling acne as an adult is a big deal and affects many people.

Purifying Black Mud Cleanser 

A purifying and balancing cleanser for acne and breakout-prone skin.

Not quite a gel and not quite a milk face wash, this cleanser takes the best from both worlds to balance problem skin! Using a combination of purifying black mud and anti-inflammatory aloe, oat, and turmeric, this cleanser deep cleans skin without being drying or stripping.

Black Mud, also known as Dead Sea Mud, contains a plethora of trace minerals that give it a whole host of therapeutic properties from being anti-inflammatory to having natural antimicrobial effects.
Turmeric oil is a nutraceutical darling prized for its awesome antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory effects.
Long since been used as a soothing agent for burns, hives, and inflammatory lesions, Organic Aloe Juice is used in this product as a base to flood the formula with skin calming action.
This all-natural product is made up of 70% organic ingredients.
This product is Nut Free.

Because acne is often inflammatory, take care to use gentle touch, ideally with the fingertips.
This cleanser can also be used to remove eye makeup, making it an efficient, multi-tasking product!

Anti- Bac Pine Mint Skin Tonic 

An alcohol-free antibacterial toner for breakout-prone skin types.

The struggle to disinfect skin without irritating it is over! Made from the water extracted from pine needles and mint leaves, this tonic purifies but never dries acne-prone skin.

Pine needle water is a powerful antibacterial and antimicrobial beauty ingredient used to disinfect blemishes and pustules.
Mint hydrosol is extracted from mint leaves through steam distillation, making for a concentrated tonic that soothes and disinfects.
This all-natural product is made up of 100% organic ingredients.
This product is 100% Nut-free, Vegan, and Gluten-free.
Pure + Simple Tip:

This tonic is an excellent replacement to alcohol-based toners and other disinfecting agents after extractions.
This tonic can be used as a compress on ripe blemishes or mixed into a powdered clay mask to inject some antimicrobial power.

Balancing Black Mud Turmeric Lotion 

A matte, non-greasy lotion that calms + purifies congested complexions.

Regenerate under-siege problem skin naturally! This potent lotion contains Black (Dead Sea) Mud, which remineralizes + disinfects skin and is infused with powerfully anti-inflammatory Turmeric.

Black Mud from the Dead Sea contains many minerals with their own therapeutic properties. It mineralizes the skin and acts as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, along with its germicidal action.

An oil considered so beautifying that it was said to be used by Cleopatra! Black Cumin oil has been used for centuries to kill bacteria and maintain hygiene. Paired with the equally precious Babassu oil, this oil helps to regulate sebum production and kills acne microbes.

Regarded in Middle East as a powerful cure all, this oil protects and boosts skin immunity while acting as a natural germicidal.
Harvested from the Babassu palm trees, the Babassu fruit yields a beautiful, light-textured oil that soothes skin inflammation and helps to prevent scars.

This product is Gluten-free and Vegan.
Pure + Simple Tip:

Use under steam before extractions to create a barrier against irritation as well as a barrier of disinfection.
A pump or two of this oil can also be added to mask treatments.
