A few Days ago I had a Clear & Brilliant laser treatment at Astra .

I wanted to write about my first impressions about this unique laser treatment.

I have had many laser treatments in the past 3 years. So Far, Clear & Brilliant is the one I would recommend FIRSt because of the NO Downtime aspect. Of course I am taking care of my skin differently at this time as The laser itself creates hundreds of thousands of micro treatment zones (tiny tiny spaces in the upper layers of the skin). This Replaces damaged skin (from sun exposure, acne scarring, hyper pigmentation. ageing )- and brings about healthy skin tissue.

How does it feel? 

Numbing cream is used before hand ALWAYS.

One of the million things I love about Astra is they really get to know you. This is so important as we all have different sensitivities and pain thresholds.

I have a sensitivity to lidocaine topical and What I was extra extra happy about is that Astra Had ordered in a Numbing cream that did not contain Lidocaine.

My face was fully numb after about a half and hour and I was so chilled out.

It feels like a hot cat tongue. Plainly put!

You know that sandpaper feeling? Yes like that but hot.

On a scale of 1-10 my pain level was a 1!

The treatment lasted about 45 minutes and there was a cooling face mask placed on my skin immediately after.

Back To Clear & Brilliant!

I went home and felt zero pain, just heat and and my skin looked like I had spent a day on a beach in Cuba without SPF !

Upon waking up the next day, I cleansed my face with the medical grade skincare Astra recommended. They only carry Medical Grade skincare and that makes my heart soar. As a creator that sees so much skincare, I know what works and what does not. Post treatment skincare is a whole other topic for another day.

First Impressions 

Clear & Brilliant at Astra Medicare is an incredible treatment. As I am writing this my skin is just tight- That’s it, I consider that ZERO downtime. I was able to wear makeup and no one noticed, Again, that’s something I love. This is a treatment that I will receive again in a month.
