Lipidol – #SkinLovesOil – A Review

Today I have a feature on some awesome skincare that I am Loving.

Lipidol

The skin’s natural way of looking after itself is through the production of oils known as lipids. By using oils in daily skincare you help your skin maintain its natural way of working. The outcome is skin that stays in balance, avoids problems and radiates with good health. The difference between your current skin and your best skin could simply be oil! Lipidol is the world’s first range of oils for daily skincare. It was developed by the makers of Bio-Oil.
This is Absolutely perfect timing as Spring is here to stay and it’s time to my skin ready for Summer!

Lipidol Cleansing Oil
What It is
Cleansing Face Oil dissolves makeup, washing it away without stripping the skin of its natural goodness. Apply to dry face. Makeup and impurities will dissolve into the oil. Add a little water and continue massaging. The oil will emulsify to form a watery cream. Rinse off. Fragranced with Rosemary and Niaouli essential oils.
My Thoughts
Oil Cleansing – Yes Please !
This is lovely as it removes every tiny bit of makeup!
Even waterproof mascara!
I love the massage I give my face with this as I go in circular motions with water!
All of the day’s “face” is gone and there is no dryness or tightness is left
Just Skin that is ready for it’s next step.

Lipidol Cleansing Body Oil
What it is
Cleansing Body Oil dissolves away dirt, cleaning without stripping the skin, which is of great benefit to dry skin sufferers because the dry skin cycle starts with abrasive washing. Apply to wet skin. The oil will emulsify and lather. Rinse off. Fragranced with Lime essential oil.
My Thoughts
The scent of this is amazing and I can really smell the lime!
My showers usually last about 15 minutes but with  this cleansing oil – it’s so lovely that I stay in a
bit longer !
My Rating – A for Aromatic
That Lime essential oil is everything !

Lipidol After Shower Oil
What it Is

After Shower Oil creates an invisible barrier which helps hold in moisture, especially in a dry climate where moisture is continually being drawn out of the skin by the dry outside air. Apply after showering. Fragranced with Chamomile essential oil.

My Thoughts

This is Probably My Fave out of all of the Lipidol line.

This absorbs right into my skin without leaving it greasy or for lack of better words – Oily!

It leaves it dewy and that chamomile essential oil is so very soothing!

My Rating  – A for Astonishing –

I have never used an after shower oil that leaves my skin this radiant!

Lipidol After Shave Oil

What it is

After Shave Oil supplements the skin’s outer layer stripped away by the mechanical action of shaving, helping the skin maintain its critical barrier function. Apply after shaving. Fragranced with Petitgrain essential oil.

My Thoughts

This is amazing!  I never wax my legs as my skin is way too sensitive for that.  After Shaving my legs, I apply a bit into my hands and warm it up and then massage my legs with it .

In love …

No More Razor burn or funny post shaving bumps.

I love that these products are multipurpose and unisex

My Rating – A for All love

Seriously I have never used after shave on my legs before and Now I really  look forward to it because of this!

And last but not least

Lipidol Overnight Face Oil

What it is

Overnight Face Oil creates an invisible face mask to help nourish the skin during its overnight rejuvenation. Apply before going to sleep. Fragranced with Ylang-Ylang and Black Pepper essential oils.

My Thoughts

Not only for the face !!

 I have tried it on the ends of my hair right before bed.

I love it!

I am also going to use it for a scalp massage as I so often forget to do that.

After applying my serum

I drop a tiny bit into my palms, warm it up and give my face a little massage

It sinks in right away and the next morning I am left glowy.

The ylang ylang essential oil is another relaxing one!

My Rating – A for Ambitious

It’s a tiny product but can do so much !!!

  2. I used to be so scared of oils but ever since learning about cleasing oils, I’ve not looked back. You know I love putting oils on my face now! They really help to maintain my skin’s suppleness. 🙂 I”m going to get the Lipidol face cleansing oil to try out! I’ve been seeing this brand at Rexalls and even at Winners! I’m quite interested in the body cleansing oil too.
    PS. Your ratings are hilarious “A for Ambitious” “A for Awesome” “A for Astonishing” XD
