Bringing you a little science from VISAGE CLINIC– which I visited yesterday for a patch test for HALO LASER TREATMENT!
WHY A PATCH TEST FIRST?
Well- I am extremely photosensitive because of a medical condition I have and so
DR. MARC DUPÉRÉ, C.M., F.R.C.S.C. and his amazing team wanted to test everything first!
WHAT IS HALO?

“Repair and rejuvenate! Sciton has developed the world’s first hybrid fractional laser that targets both the dermis and epidermis, where unwanted pigments and wrinkles are located. That means this technology treats the same anatomic area with 2 different wavelengths (2,940 nm and 1,470 nm) in one single pulse, one ablative but fractionated and one non-ablative, addressing more than one issue at a single time and in a very uniform pattern.
Being fractionated, the downtime is minimal. Treatments are performed after a topical anesthetic cream has been applied. A constant temperature monitoring assures safety of the treatment. Can I tell you that this post has got me interested in Halo! I was scared before but actually hearing about your experience and I went down a rabbit hole of research about it and it sounds amazing!

Laser sounds so scary but the new technology are so great. I found good results with IPL.
Good thing they did a patch test – better be safe than sorry!

i remember your IPL !!!!!!!
we tried that on my arm the first time i went in !
then we did the patch for HALO which s fully just flakey now – ha

I think you are going to LOVE the laser treatment. I’m so addicted to them. I haven’t done Halo but I’ve done Erbium YAG (which is an ablative laser – just under my eyes) and then I do Fraxel Dual and IPL quite often. Now, I’m mixing in the micro needing with PRP as well. Ask Visage if they also do AquaGold. I’m dying to try that! We have it here but we don’t have Skin Boosters or Volite which is supposedly coming soon to the US. All things on my list! If this stupid wrinkle under my eye right would go away PLEASE or at least have one under the left so I could be symmetrically wrinkled. LOL
