January 20th – I would like to accelerate time so it could be summer right now – but……..

Loving Loving LOVING the strobing trend! I really don’t think it’s a trend anymore actually – I think that after all the heavy contouring over the past years, it’s just a natural response. Hopefully, Illuminated skin will always be IN.

I put together SOME of the products (recentlyorganizedsohappy)  that I think are great at lighting up and highlighting the face!

Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Serum – Now a STAPLE in my skincare routine – is a great first step at revving up the skin.

HOURGLASS  Veil Mineral primer is one of my favourite primers. A little goes a long way! I have tried so many primers – but I always come back to this one. It’s Light and doesn’t settle into the pores.

CLARINS  Eclat Minute – Instant Light in 02- Champagne is a light but Very glowy tint that gives an immediate glow to the face. Under foundation or alone… wow wow wow …. Makeup staple now.

Similarly BECCA Shimmering skin perfector in Opal –attempts to do the same thing. The difference between the two is that BECCA has shimmer and in my opinion is for the high planes of the face.  Eclat Minute is for the entire face.

NARS  Radiant Creamy Concealer  in Vanilla is a really great concealer and highlighter.  It’s lightweight enough and has medium coverage. It’s one of my favourite concealers!

MAC Strobe Cream is terrific but use sparingly. It’s a moisturizer as well so You can just add a little squeeze to achieve an all over Glow.

And CLINIQUE Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight is one of my new favourite products. It’s so easy to use and is amazing above the cupid’s bow, above the eyebrows and of course on the cheekbone.

    1. hi xxxx i received it at the Shiseido dinner with Dave Lackie in December – ! xxx i haven’t done a fullllllll review …. but it’s in my fave skincare – it’s brightened up / or lightened some of the freckles on my nose … 🙂 lol
      and it’s just a gorgeous serum you could use with whatever you are using – or alone – to just brighten the skin – generally xxx i am using some vitamin c serum as well – xxx

    1. i think i got the primer in a sephora favourites kit a little while ago – it’s worth going to get a sample to try first for sure xxxx it’s pretty light and i think u would like it xxx #alwaystryasamplefirst xoxoxxoxox

  7. I’m with you about accelerating summer. I need my sunlight and warmth and I need it now. I’ve heard such great things about the Becca highlighter. It’s so so beautiful too.
