My 2nd Swatch Sunday and this time my perfect Nudes.  I love bright lips but I adore a Nude Lip even more – for every day. I always go for nudes that have a bit of pink in them.  Think Brigitte Bardot – Kind of a 60’s feel but updated .

Here are my faves right now

Bitch Perfect has been one for of my faves since it came out. And this is the thing about having MANY lipsticks. You come back to them and fall in love all over again.

MAC Liptensity in Medium Rare  I adore the name and formula.  The Bullet matches the colour – YAY MAC! They should do this more. I got so excited a few years ago when MAC & Giambatista Valli collaborated! Everything matched.

Lancome Color Design in Pale Lip is the perfect Brigitte Bardot shade. A BalletNude. Super great with a smoky eye.

  2. Ooh those ARE perfect nudes! I have Bitch Perfect and now I’m liking the look of Medium Rare (another lippy with a great name!) I picked up the shade Smoked Almond from the MAC Liptensity – have yet to wear it! 😛 These shades are totally Brigitte Bardot looking! Question for you Cat, what’s your favourite lipstick formula?

      I saw smoked almond -!!!!!!!! had a bit too much brown for me but hello gorgeous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANYTHING BUT MATTES for me ………….. ❤ ❤ ❤

  6. Fab picks~~ My fave MAC faux (original matt and the satin finish) – I like the slight blue in it, I feel that it makes my teeth look more white *LOL* MAC cherish is a close second for me. It has strong yellow under tone. My natural lip colour is quite dark, I haven’t been lucky with other brands to cover my lip colour with straight lippie.
